ABOUT CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN RESORT

AGN has arranged for ground transportation from the Colorado Springs Airport to the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Details coming soon!

 

General Info:

With 120 daily flights, and service from 10 commercial airlines, the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs is easily accessible and just a one hour drive, or an 18 minute flight, from Denver. In many cases, the through airfare to Colorado Springs is less than flights to Denver.

Directions from the Colorado Springs Airport
Go west on Drennan Rd. approximately 3 miles to Academy Blvd. Turn left on Academy and stay in the left-hand lane. Follow Academy approximately 4 miles to Highway 115. Exit north at Highway 115. Proceed approximately one mile to Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. Turn left on Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. And go one block to Broadmoor Valley Rd. Turn left and go three blocks to Cheyenne Mountain Resort.

Participants who are driving will find the Cheyenne Mountain Resort at 3225 Broadmoor Valley Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906.  

On the last day of class, buses will be waiting at Cheyenne Mountain at 3:00 p.m. for return transportation to the airport.  Ample time is needed for transportation back to the airport and for airport check-in. Return flights should be no earlier than 5:00 p.m.

Cheyenne Mountain Resort is an all-inclusive facility.  This means sleeping rooms, two meals per day, and the meeting room are all included in the room rate. AGN attendees have full use of the fitness center and recreation facilities.

AGN reserves rooms at the Resort from Sunday through Wednesday. You may check-in at any time, however, attendance is required at the new Sunday evening activity/reception. Check-out time is 12 noon. The Resort will store your bags if you do not wish to take them to the conference room with you on the last day.

You are on your own for dinner the last night. You are welcome to eat at the Resort which also has fine dining in the Pine View room, or you may want to try Walter's Bistro or return to Tejon Street (which you will visit on Monday night with the group). Recommended restaurants on Tejon are MacKenzie's Chop House, the Ritz Grill, or Jose Muldoons.

Also located on Cheyenne Mountain is the world-famous Broadmoor with fine dining available. Please see the Resort's concierge for transporation or other dining arrangements.
