Scott Wright, partner in Kernutt Stokes Brandt & Co. LLP, has been appointed Chair of the Oregon State Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA).

The OSCPA board is comprised of 11 members; Scott has served on the board for two years, then was appointed Vice Chair for a one year term, followed by Chair-Elect for a year, and now Chair.  Last year Scott spent 210 hours of business time with the OSCPA and, as Chair, will be traveling around the state making 11 tour stops to give presentations about the OSCPA. "We are the few, the proud, the CPA's," Scott proudly states.

Serving 4,700 members, the OSCPA is not a chapter of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) but rather an advocate/resource for CPA firms in Oregon. 70% of all CPA's on Oregon are members of OSCPA.
