The Atlanta-based accounting firm Windham Brannon, P.C. announced that one of its Principals, Chris Rouse, has been appointed by the Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao to the U.S. Department of Labor ERISA Advisory Council. Chris will serve for the next three years as the single accounting industry representative to the 15-member group. The Council meets several times a year to focus on issues important to employee retirement and health plans. The Council reports annually to the Office of the Employee Benefits Security Administration on the issues examined and its recommendations.
