Jim Haubrock, shareholder in the Dayton office of Clark Schaefer Hackett, has earned a seat on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Audit Quality Center Executive Committee. The Committee is credited with establishing best practices in performing high-quality employee benefit plan audits through education and training. The Committee is comprised of professionals from small, medium and large accounting firms who act as chief liaisons for accounting professionals to key senior members at the Department of Labor in Washington D.C.

Haubrock commented. As a member, Jim will serve a three year term and will be featured regularly in industry webinars and included among the group of top-notch speakers at the AICPA's annual conference in May 2011.
In a recent internal announcement regarding Haubrock's appointment, Firm president, Carl Coburn stated, "We are elated for Jim to be selected to represent the Firm on a national level. With his vast experience in this sector, we are excited for his term on the Committee to showcase his knowledge and leadership. He is well suited for the opportunity."
Haubrock joined Clark Schaefer Hackett in 2002 and has been providing services to employee benefit plan clients for over 30 years. He is shareholder-in-charge of the Firm's Employee Benefit Plan Audit Practice and SEC practice, which focuses on employee benefit plan audits for public companies. He is a member of the AICPA Governing Council and Past Chair of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). In 2008, Jim was named one of Ohio's Most Infuential CPAs by the OSCPA. Jim is involved in numerous community organizations including Treasurer of A Special Wish Foundation and past President of the Mark Baker Foundation.
