Formation of Study Groups and breakout into individual sessions

The fifth class of the Advanced Partner Training program (APT) will be held May 20 and 21, following the North American Regional Meeting in Denver! Approximately 30 AGN-NA member firm partners will gather for 1-1/2 days of learning and networking designed to strengthen and enhance their skills.

Cost is free IF we have 30 or more participants! Instructors' fees, course materials, breakfasts, breaks & lunches Wednesday and Thursday will be subsidized by AGN-NA. Participants pay only for social events (Tuesday evening social event and Wednesday evening dinner), transportation, and hotel. The session for this class runs through Thursday, May 21 at 5 p.m.

If you'd like to be in this class, talk to your managing partner; let him/her know you're interested in attending. All AGN-NA partners will eventually have an opportunity to participate in this ongoing training program. Don't be disappointed if s/he has already invited several other partners — you will get to attend a future session and participate in the one-of-a-kind large and small study group experiences!

Afterburner Fighter Pilots

Afterburner

Learn how to:

  • Be a team that works as one
  • Be a team that works for the same goals
  • Be a team that not only knows how to plan a mission - but how to execute that mission flawlessly from start to finish

Today's business environment is nothing short of combat — hostile and fast-changing. Corporate survival depends on execution. Who better to teach how to execute flawlessly in this environment than Afterburner's international team of real fighter pilots?

Afterburner has trained over 100 of the Fortune 500 companies worldwide to do what makes a company and its people successful: Execute a winning plan. "Leading the World's Top Corporations to Flawless Execution" is more than a slogan - it is the company's foundation. : : Afterburner Website : :

The instructors for this seminar will be an ethnically diverse group of fighter pilots. They will teach the Flawless Execution Model the process used by fighter pilots around the world to execute missions when the stakes are high and failure is not an option. And, the best part is that participants are actively involved! After a keynote session, the entire AGN group will be broken into "Squadrons" of 15 and sent to break-out sessions to use the skills they've just learned to plan a real mission.

Invesco Field @ Mile HighCompanions/guests have a free day to do whatever they wish. Meet in the downstairs lobby of the Westin Tabor Center at 6:30 p.m. for transportation to dinner at Invesco Field at Mile High.

Invesco Field at Mile High invites you to experience the Mile High Magic!  This impressive stadium is Denver’s premier sports venue and home of the Denver Broncos, and the site of Barack Obama's acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention.  A focal point of the stadium is the famous Broncos Sculpture.  "The Broncos" is a gift to the people of Colorado from team owner Pat Bowlen and family, and was created in Florence, Italy, by world-renowned sculptor Sergio Benvenuti.

We will be on the Club Level which offers the largest inside event space at the stadium. The lounge features two-story windows overlooking the Mile High skyline and have two main bar areas. The interior is a contemporary design with light oak, brushed steel accents and floor to ceiling windows.

Transportation back to the Westin will run all evening.

Business casual attire

Approx. Cost: $205 per person

In our continuing effort to keep costs in check, each person will receive two drink tickets, and then it's cash bar.

WEATHER IN DENVER
Mild and Mile High. The biggest surprise for visitors to Denver is the climate. The arid conditions bring only 8 to 15 inches of annual precipitation and locals wake up to more than 300 days of sunshine a year. That’s more annual hours of sun than Miami and San Diego. In summer, Denver enjoys low relative humidity, making for beautiful, sun-filled days and cool, comfortable evenings. The average daily high temperature in May is a mild 72 degrees Fahrenheit. The mild weather is due in part to the city's altitude: 5,280 feet above sea level, or exactly a mile high.
