Security, discussion led by Jim Tarala

CPE: 2.0 credit hours - Specialized Knowledge (Group-Live)

In the world today, security must be more than a password scribbled on a Post-It note under your keyboard.  Join this session and share your thoughts on the current state of security in your firm, the profession, and in the world of technology overall.

Come prepared to contribute your tips, tricks & best practices used in securing your organization as well as to discuss topics such as:

  • password management
  • two-factor authentication
  • drive and/or data encryption
  • mobile devices
  • removable media
  • data leak prevention (DLP)
  • firm policies & procedures
  • end-user training
  • who is responsible for security in your or firm?
  • is security a line item in your budget?

Together we can make the computing world of our end-users a safer and more productive place to be.
