A lively, open discussion of the 2010 IT Survey results as well as the technology challenges facing AGN member firms. This session has traditionally opened the Technology Sharegroup's conference for 15 years. It allows attendees the opportunity to learn from other technologists who are experiencing the same issues on a day to day basis. It also gives everyone an opportunity to share their knowledge with their peers.
This session sets the tone for the rest of the conference. It is consistently highly rated as attendees are able to gather valuable information and ideas to bring back to their firms.

Michael DeMarco has over eleven years of Information Technology experience. He began his career by supporting Information Systems in the financial industry. Mike joined Rothstein Kass in 2004 as an engineer to lead the technology consulting division. He is now an Operations Manager at the firm.
Rothstein Kass has nine office locations and over 950 employees. Mike's primary responsibilities include project management and network infrastructure support. His duties consist of data center, virtualization, storage, and disaster recovery management.
Mike has earned a degree in Information Technology and holds Microsoft, Citrix, and Security certifications.

Steve Gannon has 34 years of experience in computer related technologies working with multiple hardware platforms and a wide range of software products.
He joined the firm in 1982 and is responsible for the acquisition, installation and support of computer hardware and software for the firm.
Past employment experience includes medical, distribution, manufacturing and wholesale, in addition to accounting applications.
