AGN International - North America Announces
Officers
 Aurora, CO --
Sanders (Sandy) Beckman, CPA, has been elected Chair of AGN
International-North America, Inc. (AGN-NA; offices in 127
cities in 31 states, three Canadian provinces, Puerto Rico
and two cities in Mexico). Beckman is a Shareholder of Weinstein
Spira & Company, PC, based in Houston, TX.
As AGN-NA Chair, Beckman will
preside at meetings of the North American Region’s
Board of Directors and Executive Committee throughout 2007.
The Board is scheduled to meet
May 21-23, 2007 at the Omni Interlocken Resort in
Broomfield, CO, and is proud to announce Jim Collins, author
of Good
to Great, has been contracted to speak to AGN-NA members
at this meeting.

Beckman and the
AGN-NA Executive Committee’s primary
focus will be implementing tactics to achieve five strategic
objectives identified by the Board of Directors in late 2005.
AGN-NA currently
has 55 CPA, CA and accounting firms as members of the North
American region. AGN-NA is part of AGN International,
Ltd., which has 481 offices and 204 member firms in 83 countries,
and is ranked as the 12th largest association of accounting
firms, based on member firms’ billings to clients,
after the Big Four. The North American headquarters are in
Aurora,
CO.
Beckman has served
on AGN-NA’s Board since 1998 and
its Executive Committee since 2003. He joined Weinstein Spira & Company
in 1965 and became principal in 1975. Beckman works in
audit, tax and business consulting areas, with a specialty
in the
restaurant industry. He has built a clientele of some of
Houston’s
top restaurants.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified
Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelors in Business
Administration from the University of Texas.
